6/7-Lers Shine at Terry Fox Kickoff
The Terry Fox Run at MTPS will be held on Friday, October 6th. Toonies for Terry and other donations are greatly appreciated. Students in 6/7-L were brought onboard to run the kickoff assembly last week. A proud moment for their teacher and fellow classmates!
Big Guns to Help Us With Our Math Learning
We are pleased to welcome Mrs. Wilson into our math classroom this year. She is a mathematics expert and assists in another classroom here at MTPS, as well as in grade 6 and 7 classrooms at Central Hastings School.
Bio-Poem Slideshows Look Great!
The students spent some time on the Chromebooks last week, putting together slideshows all about themselves. Students have used all of the features of Google Slides to increase the overall appearance of their slideshows. These include the use of transitions, animations, images and text. Many students have used their own personal images in their slideshows, which definitely gives it a more personal touch.
