Our math specialist, Mrs. Wilson, brought in some Microbits, which are small electronic devices programmed to complete a variety of tasks by following code which is created by the students through a computer program. We have been spending time recently, reviewing and practicing math skills through small-group math games. Check out the pics below.
Marshmallow Structures!
As part of science unit on structures, the class participated in a competition to build the highest possible, free-standing structure with only toothpicks and mini-marshmallows. The winning tower! Congrats Abby and Avery.
