The Science of It All

The grade 6 students are beginning a unit of study on the science of flight, which is one of my personal favourites.  

The grade 7s will be focusing on structures - both natural and human-made - and how to ensure structural integrity during construction.

Here the students are constructing and testing out paper airplanes with different flight characteristics.

As part of the dance strand of the Ontario arts curriculum, the students, within small groups, are planning, choreographing, practicing and performing dances to selections of music chosen by each group.
