We've Got Some Great Speakers in 6/7-L

One of the drama activities we often engage in is the 30 second speech.  Student volunteers go to the front of the class and are asked to speak for 30 seconds on a topic that is decided on-the-spot.  The idea is to try to speak continuously without awkward pauses, or 'umms and ahhhs.'

As part of the dance strand of the Ontario arts curriculum, the students, within small groups, are planning, choreographing, practicing and performing dances to selections of music chosen by each group.
