A Mishmash of Math
We've had a variety of math focuses over the last couple of weeks including integers, fractions and algebra. We are about to turn our attention to geometry.
Parents, if you are looking to do some home practice with your child, it never hurts to review and repeat the basic times tables. This can be done with flashcards, timed worksheets (which I'd be happy to provide) or even computer-based activities. Students who are comfortable with the times tables usually have an easier time picking-up things like fractions, decimals, percents, division, algebra etc.
