An Opinionated Crew!

We are taking a look at persuasive writing.  The students have written persuasive paragraphs on a number of interesting topics.  They are currrently writing a persuasive letter to the principal arguing that cell phones either have an educational purpose in the classroom, or they don't.  Here, the students are researching and organizing for a group writing task that argues Canada is the best country in the world in which to live, or that it isn't.

We started out our persuasive work with a 'Would You Rather' survey of the students in 6/7-L.  Check out the results below.
