Grade Six Students to Complete Provincial-Wide Assessment

The grade 6's will be participating in their first EQAO (Education Quality and Accountability Office) assessment.  Their grade 3 year was, of course, interrupted because of COVID-19.  The grade 6 assessment will begin on Wednesday, May 22nd and be spread over the following two days. 

During the periods of time in which the grade 6s are engaged in the assessment, the grade 7 students will be assigned to classrooms throughout the school, where they will carry on with their learning.

The students will be writing EQAO in a completely digital format.  We have familiarized ourselves with the assistive features of the program, and have had the opportunity to complete some practice runs using samples provided by EQAO.
