6/7-Lers Show Their Leadership Skills at jump Rope for Heart
Students in 6/7-L, for the most part, are a super-active crew. They love their gym classes and being active outside on the school yard. Many are active within the community as well through activities such as softball, soccer, cheer, gymnastics, swimming, martial arts, dance, basketball, football, and hockey.
On June 14th, the students took this active energy outside for Jump Rope for Heart.
I want to point out that several students were called upon by the event organizer, Mrs. Graham, to provide their leadership skills by running various skipping events that were part of Jump Rope for Heart. Students in 6/7-L are called upon regularly, by myself, other teachers, the principal and Mrs. Murphy to assist with a variety of events and activities within classes and throughout the school.
